“Censorship is the child of fear and the father of ignorance.”
― Laurie Halse Anderson, Speak

For decades, novels, essays, and works of literature have been banned and/or challenged by the general public for their views on certain issues and representations of society.

Coming from a country that isn't too keen on candidness and the complete freedom of expression has allowed us to finally ask the question:

Should books be banned?

Every month we would engage in the reading of a book that has been banned by a government, library, association, or group in recent history and in current times.

Reading books challenged or banned by society strengthens and opens up the mind. The books that society bans reflects greatly on society's flaws.

So get a head first on your intellect and oppress censorship!
